Product Engineer

South San Francisco, CA, USA
In person, 5 days a week

Product engineers work closely with customers to design and build new products and features. 

The ideal candidate enjoys rapid prototyping, iterating quickly with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You are likely to be passionate about the new user experiences that AI and language unlock, and have a keen interest in visual design (e.g. you might have a well-worn copy of “The Visual Display of Quantitative Information” on your bookshelf).

You will:

• Develop our product, including features for querying, browsing and analyzing large scale data
• Develop new interfaces for allowing users to explore data and documents through LLMs (beyond chat!)
• Work closely with customers to understand existing product gaps and develop a roadmap to address them

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of industry software engineering experience
  
• React / TypeScript / single page app experience

Nice to have:

• Previous experience at high growth startups
  
• Strong interest or experience in design
  
• Experience developing generative AI interfaces
• Demonstrated interest in the life sciences
